San Francisco - 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Convertible - 18k Miles, PDK

A beautiful example of my favorite trim of any water-cooled 911. Of course, it's a performance step up from the Carrera S, sporting stiffer suspension ratios and 23 more horsepower (408 total), but only true Porsche enthusiasts would know the difference. That anonymity is valuable, especially given how much attention GT3s and Turbos tend to attract.

This particular example is a late-built cabriolet optioned with the PDK and a fire extinguisher (super cool). The aesthetics of this car are amazing - the 20" RS Spyder center-lock wheels offset the red brake calipers nicely, and "Carrera GTS" badges on the doors and on the red gauge cluster add some exotic flair.

Purchased CPO from Porsche, the car's cosmetics look tidy, with no curb rash on any of the wheels' aluminum lining. This is the ideal GTS for cruising backroads on the weekends - I can imagine the thrill of throwing this car into Sport Plus, opening the sport exhaust baffle, and letting the 3.8-liter sing into the open air. It's definitely a dream car of mine.

Advertised at $74.9k, which is actually market-correct for the mileage. These cars command huge premiums thanks to their enthusiast followings, and following a PPI, this one would make a great pickup.
